The Hospital is a recurring place in Studio Ghibli's film, My Neighbor Totoro. It is thought to be a fair few miles from the Kusakabes' house. The hospital is the main reason the Kusakabes moved to their new house.
Yasuko Kusakabe stays at the hospital throughout the entire film, however she does return home during the end credits. It is thought that she is staying there due to having tuberculosis.
Several scenes occur here, but it is not a major place.
