The school is a place in Studio Ghibli's film, My Neighbor Totoro. Satsuki and her friend, Michiko, both attend school there.
The school features in the middle of the film, when Mei refuses to stay with Granny and wants to go to Satsuki. Granny takes Mei to the school, and when Satsuki sees them through a classroom window, she runs out and her teacher agrees to let Mei sit in on the class. The whole class is excited, and Mei sits inbetween Satsuki and Michiko. During the class, Mei draws a picture of Totoro while Satsuki works. When school ends, everybody shouts, "Goodbye!" to Mei.

The school has a large courtyard which is surrounded by a stone wall. The interior features Satsuki's classroom. It has a blackboard at the front of the room, and rows of desks.
